Italian Piccole Guides

I have four Italian Piccole Guides that have no American counterpart. These are available in softcover and a pictorial hardcover, similar to the permabound Golden Guides. All are published by Arnoldo Mondadori and have 160 pages. On the back cover this series is called Piccole Guide Mondadori.

The title Aspettando Un Bambino translates to "Waiting For A Child". No mention of a copyright by Western Publishing or Golden Press. © 1970 Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, Milano. My copy is a second printing hardcover edition. Number 52 in a series.

The second image on the right is titled Funghi. © 1964 M.W.P.- Mondadori Western Publishing- Milano. © 1964 by Western Publishing Hachette International S.A. - Genève. Second printing 1965. Softcover edition. Number 8 in a series. (note: states the original title is Champignons, which is the French Mushrooms book.

The next image is titled Farfalle. © 1965 e 1968 Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, Milano- Titolo dell'opera originale: Papillons- espèces européennes. (meaning this was originally published as Papillons espèces européennes.) © 1963 by Western Publishing Hachette International, - Genève. Hardcover edition. Number ? in the series.

The next image is about playing Bridge. the title Conoscere Meglio Il Bridge in English means "To know the Bridge Better". It is copyright 1966 by Arnold Mondadori Editore, Milano. Hardcover. Fourth printing 1971.

The next image is titled Conoscere il Jazz. © 1967 Mondadori W.P.- Milano. Hardcover. 1 edizione: ottobre 1967. Number 39 in the series. The same book exists in a British edition.

The next image is titled Obiettivo Sulla CINA Translated to English it means "Objective On China". © 1968 Mondadori W.P.- Milano. 1 edizione: gennaio 1968. Number 40 in the series. Hardcover. First printing. A French book on China may or may not be the same book. It is hard to tell as I do not read either language.

The next image is titled Pesca in acqua Dolce Translated to English it means "Peach in Sweet water". But my translation is probably off. I'm sure it has something to do with boating. © 1963 M.W.P.- Mondadori- Milano. Original title- Peche en eau douce. © 1963 Western Publishing Hachette International S.A. Genève. Illustrations by Saint Justh. Number 6 in the series. This is the title used on the French version. This title in French translates to Fresh Water Fishing.

The next image is titled Aeromodelli Translated to English it means "Model Airplanes". © 1967 Mondadori W.P.- Milano. 1 edizione: luglio 1967. Written by Carlos D'Agostino. Number 34 in the series. Hardcover. First printing.
