The earliest Golden Press edition of Zoology is a stated seventh printing, 1962. The art in the middle of the back cover has been replaced with text. Cover price is still $1.00. The letter G is on page 160. (not shown)

Next is the NASC version. This book appears to be a promotional item published for the North American School Of Conservation. It has the NASC symbol on the spine. Spine also states Reference Library instead of Golden Press. The inside front cover has a letter from Dr. Eugene Auerbach. Inside back cover has student success stories. The back cover has a blurb about the school. Same front cover as previous versions. Printing code shows OPQRST on page 160. (not shown)

The German version of Zoology is titled Tierkunde. And two cover versions exist. The first shown has the same cover as the American version. The next one shown has a completely new cover. Three versions of Zoology exist in a large (5 ¼ by 7 ¾ inch) hardcover. Image #1 has the number 63503 on the back cover. Image #2 has the number 0-307-63503-1 on the back cover. A similar version of image #2 also exists in a large hardcover. The number on the spine is 28101.
